Awal karir dimulai dari tahun 1964 di Birmingham inggris, Moody Blues mempunyai lima personel yaitu

1. Denny Laine pada guitar dan akhirnya digantikan oleh Justin Hayward
2. Clint Warwick pada bass, akhirnya digantikna juga oleh John Lodge
3. Mike Pinder pada keyboards
4 Ray Thomas pada flute dan percussion
5 Sedangkan penabuh drums dipercayakan pada Graeme Edge

Moody Blues merupakan pioner dalam hal mamadukan musik rock dan Orcestra, sehingga aliran musiknya mudah diterima oleh berbagai kalangan pada masa itu. Sejak tahun 1965 telah berhasil membuat 23 album dan berhasil menjual sebanyak 55 juta copy diseluruh dunia. dan tercatat sebagai band paling sukses hanya dengan perusahaan rekaman sendiri. berikut adalah beberapa album dari Moody Blues

Rush adalah kelompok musik progressive rock asal Kanada yang beranggotakan tiga orang yaitu Geddy Lee pada bass dan lead vocals,  Alex Lifeson pemain guitar dan John Rutsey pada drums (diganti oleh Neil Peart tahun1974). karir Rush dimulai sejak tahun 1968 di Sarnia, Ontario dan Canada.

Selama karirnya Rush sudah mengeluarkan 30 album selama 30 tahun dan berhasil menjual sampai 40 juta copy, 17 album mendapatkan penghargaan label platinum dan 8 album mendapatkan penghargan label Emas, 4 Nominasi Grammy dan yang terakhir 8 album mendapatkan juno awards. pada saat jaya-nya rush banyak di tulis dalam bentuk buku diantaranya empat buku ditulis oleh pemain drumnya yaitu Neil Peart
